Part 8: Starting a Business Series (A Case Example)
When you’re starting a business, you need a good solid website, you need to blog, and you need to be on social. Though all those things are important, you’ll find that email is the most critical piece of the puzzle, hands down. Why?
Email is your conversion instrument. If you hope to sell anything, email is your avenue. That means that all of your marketing activities should focus on getting people to willingly subscribe. And with the new regulations (GDPR) in Europe, this permission is more important than ever.
Given that most people use their inbox as a to-do list, the permission to email someone is extremely high-level access. This means that you have a responsibility not to abuse the privilege.
So how do you balance all this in building your email list? That’s the topic of Episode 129 of Marketing Without the Marketing – listen here or in your favorite podcast app.
